Dr. Renato Segura-Rodriguez received his degree as Doctor in Medicine and Surgery from Bogota, Colombia in 1992. He is currently licensed to practice Medicine in Puerto Rico and Florida. His extensive clinical experience includes both Western and Alternative Medicine, all of which he develops into the concept of INTEGRATIVE MEDICINE. After finishing Medical School he got involved in the study of different Alternative Medicine Systems and Therapies as Korean Hand-acupuncture, Electro-acupuncture, Photo-Cognitive Therapy (Past-life Therapy), Basic and Clinical Homeopathy and Neural Therapy. During this time, he was also practicing medicine in a Trauma Surgical Regional Hospital in his country. In 2000 he moved to USA and completed a Master Degree in Oriental Medicine at Samra University in Los Angeles, CA and obtained his Acupuncture Licensed and then a Diplomate in Oriental Medicine. Back to Western Medicine and before he validated his MD License in USA he worked as Surgical Assistant in Plastic Surgery and also spent many years in clinical research at VA Medical Center-Miami, University of Miami and Boca Raton Community Hospital, focusing on Multiple Sclerosis, Epilepsy, Oncology and Cardiology Dr. Segura currently specializes in Sintergetic (Consciousness) Medicine. Sintergetic Medicine is a theoretical and practical synthesis of Western Conventional Medicine and Holistic medical systems like Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), Homeopathy, Neural Therapy, The New Germanic Medicine (Dr Hamer), Bioenergy, Quantum Physics, Color Therapy, Magnet Therapy, Psychosynthesis, Reflexology, Constellations and many others. Dr. Segura is currently practicing at different Medical Centers in Hollywood, Sunrise and North Miami, FL, and also works in the Emergency Room at a local Community Hospital in South Florida.
